(Essen, 1 March 2013) Brinkmann Dewert Rechtsanwälte und Notare, software developer Loy & Hutz and Netzwerkpartner are moving into the newly completed RÜ62 complex as office tenants.

Of the approximately 12,700 m² of total lettable area, Brockhoff has leased 3,400 m² to Edeka, 680 m² to Deichmann, 1,200 m² to Aldi and 800 m² to dm-Drogeriemarkt for retail use. More than 6,000 m² of office space in the new building has also been let.

Renowned patent attorneys von Rohr have secured 1,600 m², Kölbl Kruse 1,260 m² and City Jung Immobilien 236 m². A further 925 m² has now been let to one of Essen’s oldest law firms, Brinkmann Dewert Rechtsanwälte und Notare, which has 37 employees, including 11 lawyers and 4 notaries.

Loy & Hutz, a market leader in facility management software systems, has also chosen to lease 400 m². According to Brockhoff, only two units of 230 m² and 431 m² remain available, and detailed leasing and planning discussions are already underway. Most tenants have moved into the building, and the completed car park at Alfredstraße and Bertoldstraße is also proving increasingly popular.

The three developers, Eckhard Brockhoff, Dr. Marcus Kruse and Stephan Kölbl, plan to retain the property as a long-term holding, with a total investment volume of €50 million. Brockhoff and Kölbl Kruse see Rüttenscheid as one of Essen’s most attractive office and retail locations.

Rüttenscheider Stern has once again become one of the key retail destinations in the district. Its attractive tenant mix, convenient parking and appealing interior and exterior architecture all contribute to its success.
