(Essen) Brockhoff Immobilien GmbH has appointed Kristina Brockhoff (27) and Sonja Brockhoff (25), daughters of company founder and managing partner Eckhard Brockhoff (56), as authorised signatories and members of the management team. Kristina has worked in the family business for 4 years and Sonja for 2 years. Both have completed comprehensive training.

After working in several company departments, Kristina Brockhoff took charge of the office-leasing activities in summer 2013. For 27 years, Brockhoff & Partner Immobilien GmbH has been a leading company in the leasing and sale of office and warehouse space in the Ruhr region. Kristina is supported by a young, dynamic and highly motivated team working mainly in Essen, Dortmund, Bochum, Duisburg, Mülheim, Oberhausen and Gelsenkirchen.

Kristina earned her bachelor’s degree at the International School of Management (ISM) in Dortmund. She then completed the real estate economics programme at the IREBS Real Estate Academy, regarded as a foundational course in the field, followed by an Executive MBA in Real Estate at IREBS International Real Estate Business School, part of the University of Regensburg. Her studies included placements at Harvard University in Boston (USA), the University of Reading (UK), the University of Hong Kong and Tongji University in Shanghai. She had previously spent a semester abroad at European Business School in Dublin (Ireland) in 2008.

After successfully completing her banking apprenticeship, Sonja Brockhoff has now worked in the family business for 2 years. She first rotated through the company’s departments as an assistant to gain an overview of its activities. Sonja is currently completing her real estate studies at EBZ Business School in Bochum. She now leads the company’s administration department, which she successfully established 2 years ago with an experienced team.
