Essen, Huyssenallee 82–88.

SGB Shared Services Center GmbH and law firm ORTHPARTNERS have secured new office space in the refurbished “SKY 82” office tower on Essen’s Huyssenallee. SGB will occupy 539 m², while ORTHPARTNERS has leased 361 m². Brockhoff successfully brokered both lettings.

The owner of the office complex is project developer BS Grundbesitz, which comprehensively renovated the tower in 2023. It is centrally located between Essen’s main railway station and the lively “RÜ” promenade. “These successful deals show how attractive Huyssenallee has become again—modern office space is in strong demand here,” says Brockhoff property adviser Sara Hettchen.

The revitalisation of Huyssenallee was largely initiated by Eckhard Brockhoff, who helped drive the area’s renewal around ten years ago by advising owners specifically on modernising or selling their properties on the avenue. Prestige developments such as “Huyssen Quartier (HQE)” have re-established Huyssenallee as a top business address in Essen. Brockhoff previously brokered the sale of the former property on the site and subsequently secured 4,200 m² of office space in HQE for the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
