The staff restaurant and communications centre at ABB’s plant in Ratingen, near the boundary with Düsseldorf’s Rath district, has been successfully sold by BROCKHOFF OBJEKT GmbH. The property, leased long term to ABB AG, was built in 1999 on a 4,039 m² site. It comprises a staff restaurant with dining and kitchen areas on the ground floor, and a communications centre with training and conference rooms on the upper floor. Total lettable area is approximately 1,646 m².

The ABB Group operates worldwide and employs around 132,000 people in 100 countries. Approximately 1,300 employees work in manufacturing and administration at its Ratingen site. The buyer is Leipzig-based publity AG.
