In Essen, at Königgrätzstraße 12 / Huttropstraße 8, Brockhoff has found a new owner for a 4,400 m² building complex for the second time in three years, advising on its sale from MAYESTATE to Allbau. In 2021, Brockhoff had also advised on the transfer from “NEUE ARBEIT (Diakonie Essen) gGmbH” to MAYESTATE.

Built in 1955, the complex consists of two sections. Königgrätzstraße 12 offers 1,434 m² and houses a basement-level, three-storey training centre with a canteen and large kitchen. The Huttropstraße 8 section, built in 1965 and totalling 3,006 m², is used as a four-storey office building. Both buildings stand on a 3,792 m² plot and are connected by an intermediate wing in the basement, ground floor and first floor. A comprehensive renovation was completed in 1998.

Over the past 12 months, we have sold several assets as part of a portfolio restructuring and are now seeking new residential and commercial properties, preferably in the Ruhr region.”
