Global luxury group LVMH has leased the first German boutique for its subsidiary Benefit Cosmetics with the support of Brockhoff & Partner Immobilien GmbH. The boutique is in Essen’s Rü-Karree on the lively Rüttenscheider Straße. Benefit Boutique at Rüttenscheider Straße 103 is expected to open on 27 July 2016 (27.07.2016). Extensive refurbishment is currently under way in the listed property. Benefit Cosmetics’ creative, cheerful design will bring a splash of pink to the “Rü” and enrich the retail mix in the prime 1A neighbourhood of Essen-Rüttenscheid. The property is owned by a real estate company held by Essen families.

Until now, Benefit Cosmetics products have been sold in Germany through well-known perfumeries and department stores. The boutique on the “Rü” is the first of its kind in Germany. In addition to premium cosmetics, it will offer a range of beauty services, including brow shaping at the BrowBar Beautylounge, body waxing and spray tans for a quick, natural-looking glow.

Founded in San Francisco in 1976 as “The Face Place”, the company was renamed Benefit Cosmetics in 1990. Since 1999, Benefit Cosmetics has been part of the world’s largest luxury goods group, Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH), and now operates points of sale in more than 35 countries.
