Brockhoff has successfully brokered a retail unit at Marktstraße 17 in Ahaus to Ernsting’s family. The total lettable area is around 385 m². The space was previously used by the retailer KODi.

The retail unit is located in an established prime (1A) location in the Ahaus pedestrian zone, opposite “Café & Bar Celona” and “Engbers”. Both of these retail spaces were also brokered by Brockhoff at the time. The immediate surroundings are characterised by other well-known chain stores, offering ideal conditions for sustainable retail use.

“This letting once again underlines the appeal of Ahaus town centre to strong retail chains. In particular, the combination of high footfall, an established retail environment and a central location within the pedestrian zone makes this site especially attractive,” explains real estate expert Bert Pfeffer of Brockhoff.

The property is owned by a private individual who has been a long-standing client of Brockhoff for many years. Brockhoff has worked successfully for the owner in the past, including brokering the neighbouring retail unit to the Kiepenkerl bakery.

With Ernsting’s family moving in, the retail structure in Ahaus town centre is further strengthened. At the same time, a viable long-term follow-on solution has been found for the space.
