To consolidate its previously decentralised Essen locations in one building, Jugendhilfe Essen gGmbH (JHE) decided to move into 3,300 m² at Max-Keith-Straße 66 from November. Brockhoff advised the property owner under a lead broker mandate. RUHR REAL represented Jugendhilfe Essen gGmbH (JHE).

Jugendhilfe Essen is a subsidiary of the City of Essen. It organises all-day programmes at all 82 primary schools and five special schools in Essen, provides youth services through facilities, educational and leisure programmes across the city, and delivers services ranging from advice to vocational training through Jugendberufshilfe Essen (JBH). In addition to the site’s walkable location, the deciding factor was the opportunity to move into the entire building at very short notice. The new tenant was also impressed by the efficient floor plan, the building’s generally good condition and its accessibility.
