Dortmund University of Applied Sciences (FH Dortmund), through Brockhoff OFFICE, has leased a standalone building of 4,950 m² at Joseph-Fraunhofer-Str. 23, located on the TechnologieZentrumDortmund (TZDO) site.

The property offers functional office space, parking, and outdoor areas. Its direct proximity to the campus on Emil-Figge-Straße was also decisive in the lease. The premises will be fitted out for the university’s specific requirements before it moves in next year.

Facilities of FH Dortmund will be based at the new location. Proximity to the technology park offers opportunities to build and expand connections with companies, benefiting both sides.

“Our graduates are the skilled professionals who are urgently needed tomorrow. Brockhoff OFFICE found an ideal location for us, helping ease space constraints on campus and for our faculties,” says Jochen Drescher, Chancellor of FH Dortmund.

Around 300 companies, startups, and entrepreneurs have established themselves on the approximately 100,000 m² TZDO site over the past 35 years, sustainably driving Dortmund’s structural transformation.
