The bank building, with its attractive sandstone façade, occupies a prime high-street location in central Duisburg. Commerzbank has occupied it since its construction in 1951,
and will remain at the site under a long-term lease.

Brockhoff has successfully sold the approximately 3,250 m² property on behalf of a real estate leasing fund managed by Commerz Real AG.
The buyer is a fund operated by French investment specialist Sogenial Immobilier. The purchase price was not disclosed.

For Essen-based property adviser Brockhoff, this is the second successful transaction on Duisburg’s Königstraße in a short period.
The sale of a 6,830 m² office and commercial building, also brokered by Brockhoff, was announced in January.
