Ense, Auf den Geeren 22–24.

CityLink is continuing its growth across Europe and has acquired a 14,500 m² logistics property as part of its expansion strategy. Brockhoff advised on the sale-and-leaseback transaction for the property at Auf den Geeren 22–24 in Ense, near Dortmund.

The property occupies a site of just under 43,200 m² and is fully let on a long-term basis to WDM Deutenberg, a specialist in wire technology and metal processing. Its location in Ense, on the northern edge of the Ruhr region, provides excellent access to the A 44 via the B 516.

The successful transaction in Ense is another achievement for Brockhoff’s investment team and underlines investors’ interest in logistics properties, particularly those such as this one with good connections to major urban centres.

CityLink is a joint venture between Proptimize and Highbrook specialising in investment in last-mile logistics properties. Following the acquisition in Ense, its portfolio now comprises 123 properties in the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.
