(Dortmund, 20.05.2025). The City of Dortmund has acquired the distinctive office building at “Heiliger Weg 74–80,” prominently located on a corner in the southern city centre, for its own use.
Brockhoff discreetly brokered the sale on behalf of the seller. The purchase price remains confidential.

The modern office property, with a total area of around 10,300 m², was built in 2000 on a plot of approximately 5,000 m².
The attractive complex consists of two symmetrical, five-storey buildings connected by a glazed stairwell.
The property includes 135 parking spaces in total, behind the building and in its underground car park.

The City of Dortmund plans to use the building for its own municipal needs.

The property previously belonged to the insolvent WI Objektgesellschaft IX GmbH. Insolvency administrator Ilkin Bananyarli of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH says:
“The successful sale marks a significant step in the proceedings. The property is important for the urban fabric, and its sale also benefits the creditors.
I am pleased that constructive discussions with all parties involved have led to a viable solution.”

Before the sale, the Continentale insurance group had occupied the building as its main tenant for many years. It has since moved into its new building at Stadtkrone Ost.
