Brockhoff has successfully leased additional space in the striking brick building at Frohnhauser Straße 71 in Essen. Elektro Decker secured around 985 m² in the property, which is now fully let. Founded in 1946, Elektro Decker GmbH is a long-established company within the Elevion Group. With around 200 employees in the Ruhr region and the Rhineland, it provides a full range of services, from planning to maintenance, for innovative electrical engineering systems.

Brockhoff recently arranged a lease of around 1,500 m² in the former C&A building to a modern martial arts school. This latest letting completes the property’s comprehensive repositioning.

The property is at the busy intersection of Frohnhauser Straße and Hans-Böckler-Straße, one of the best-trafficked locations on the western edge of the city centre. Good accessibility, heavy traffic and distinctive architecture create a range of possibilities for commercial concepts. The Mr. Wash facility opposite also generates a steady flow of visitors.

“This lease shows that the location is viable and can accommodate a range of uses,” says Brockhoff real estate advisor Tobias Altenbeck. “For former single-tenant properties in particular, clear positioning is essential. Here, we have built a stable tenant mix step by step.”

Brockhoff was involved in more than this latest lease and had previously secured the City of Essen as a tenant in the property. Full occupancy is the result of consistent positioning and targeted outreach to suitable tenant groups.
