Last year, Brockhoff secured the Federal Employment Agency as sole tenant for the 3,655 m² office building at Lysegang in Essen. Brockhoff also brokered the recent sale of the fully let property to a family office.

The listed historic building with a brick façade dates from 1860. It was comprehensively refurbished between 1988 and 1990 and upgraded to meet the needs of modern office use. In 1999, a new four-storey section was added to the 4,245 m² site. Ten years later, the two sections were joined by a connecting building.

A photovoltaic system on the roof and an electric vehicle charging station are among the latest upgrades. The entire building was also made accessible, including through the installation of lifts.

The location on the northern edge of Essen city centre offers excellent transport links. The city centre, town hall and main station are all within walking distance. Several public transport stops are directly outside the building. Nearby motorway access to the A40 and A52 also ensures regional connectivity.
