(Essen, 12 August 2020 [12.08.2020]). Essen police have moved. The new site at Theodor-Althoff-Straße 4 in Essen is now home to Police Station 2-South, the riot police unit and numerous offices for criminal investigation departments.

Following extensive refurbishment and modernisation, the building complex has now been officially inaugurated. Guests included NRW Interior Minister Herbert Reul, who delivered welcoming remarks, Police President Frank Richter, Mayor Thomas Kufen and Frank Schneider, board member of financial investor publity.

In 2018, BROCKHOFF OFFICE secured a landmark 30-year lease with Essen police for 26,800 m² at the Bredeney property.

The opening of the new site for approximately 800 employees marks the end of the largest relocation in the history of Essen Police Headquarters. The new site covers approximately 100,000 m² in total and provides 26,800 m² of usable space for police operations.
