At the end of July 2021, optician eyes+more opened a new branch at RÜ-Karrée, Rüttenscheider Str. 103 in Essen. BROCKHOFF RETAIL advised on the lease of the approx. 85 m² retail unit in a prime 1A location on the attractive shopping street. Other well-known retailers in the same building include perfumery Pieper and HypoVereinsbank.

The previous tenant was “benefit”, the cosmetics concept belonging to luxury-goods group LVMH. eyes+more redesigned and fitted out the unit in consultation with the property-owning company. Founded in the Netherlands in 2005, the company is successfully expanding in Germany, Belgium, Austria and its home country. In Germany, eyes+more is one of the four largest optical retail chains.

Centrally located in Essen’s Rüttenscheid lifestyle district, RÜ-Karrée is one of the city’s most elegant and sought-after retail and office locations. Since 2000, the Essen-based agency has managed this exceptional property at “Rüttenscheider Stern” under an exclusive mandate and has successfully brokered numerous subsequent leases. The owner is a regional property development company.
