(Mülheim, 23.09.2020). Austrian developer SORAVIA recently acquired the 136,000 m² site, including an existing building of 79,000 m², through a transaction brokered by Brockhoff & Partner. Brockhoff’s agency team was also appointed to handle lettings and has now signed the first lease with PetCom, a renowned supplier of pet food to supermarket chains and part of the WIESENHOF Group. The company will move in on 1 January 2021.

Further leases are close to completion. “Plans and lease agreements are being prepared for 25,000 m² of lettable space,” says Eckhard Brockhoff. “The unique parkland setting and good value at eight euros per m² mean marketing is going well despite coronavirus, and the site has become the Ruhr region’s ‘place to be’.”
SORAVIA is converting the single-tenant property, previously used by Tengelmann and its subsidiaries, for smaller-scale lettings.
