With advice from Brockhoff OFFICE, another tenant is moving into one of Essen’s flagship office properties. International IT service provider FPT Deutschland GmbH will lease a floor of approximately 600 m² in the RUHR Tower’s front building from 1 January 2020. In the meantime, the space is being fitted out to a high standard, with extensive open-plan areas, meeting rooms and meeting points tailored to the tenant.

After FAKT AG acquired the former listed Rheinstahl headquarters in 2015, it was completely revitalized and upgraded to the latest energy and technical standards. The property now fully meets modern office requirements and was renamed RUHR Tower to reflect the international outlook of its new tenant mix.

Under a lead-broker agreement, Brockhoff OFFICE marketed the office space in the 17,200 m² tower. The largest tenant is coworking provider Design Offices, which signed a lease this year for approximately 7,000 m². Other tenants include Deutsche Bank, recruitment provider Hays, Business Metropole Ruhr, Check 24 and a joint venture between Innogy and Burda subsidiary C3. Only approximately 1,173 m² of office space remains available in this unique building, marketed by Brockhoff OFFICE.
