In a joint transaction, property consultancies Realogis and Brockhoff secured a sole occupier for Logicor Park Hamm. Realogis acted exclusively for landlord Logicor, while Brockhoff introduced tenant Heinrich Dehn.

Hamburg-based Heinrich Dehn signed a lease for a 17,870 m² logistics property in Hamm. Completed last year on behalf of Logicor, one of Europe’s largest owners, managers and developers of modern logistics property, Logicor Park Hamm offers 14,900 m² of hall space, 2,600 m² of mezzanine space and 540 m² of high-specification office and amenity areas.

“The location, with direct access to motorway A2 and close proximity to A1 and A44 on the north-eastern edge of the Ruhr region, is very attractive for us as a fulfilment provider. The property’s sustainable, high-quality fit-out is another advantage,” says Friedrich Tönnies, Director of Contract Logistics at Heinrich Dehn. At this state-of-the-art logistics and fulfilment centre, we can securely store goods to meet customer requirements and provide extensive value-added services.

The new building is targeting a BREEAM “Very Good” sustainability rating. The logistics hall is heated by fossil-free VRF heat pumps. 2,100 photovoltaic panels on the green roof generate 1.5 MWp of electricity. The property also features insulation to the BEG 40 standard, LED lighting and a green roof. Inside, the timber glulam roof structure creates a pleasant atmosphere. The landscaping uses native plants, with green façades in some areas. Around 12,000 cubic metres of recycled concrete from demolition of the former building were reused on site for foundations and traffic areas.
