The Hilarion medical centre, in a prime location beside Elisabeth Hospital in Essen’s south-eastern district, has been sold to Herzzentrum Essen-Huttrop gGMBH. The heart centre, already one of the largest tenants, is part of University Medicine Essen. As its second cardiac surgery site and part of the West German Heart and Vascular Centre, its specialists focus particularly on adult cardiac surgery. Built in 1998, Hilarion has a high-quality tenant mix that includes renowned practices and clinics. Brockhoff advised on the sale of approximately 6,498 m² at Herwarthstraße 100–102. The seller is a fund company with an ownership association of 54 people. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
