Brockhoff successfully brokered the sale of a 1,330 m² office villa at Dammstr. 11 in Duisburg-Ruhrort. The fully let, multi-tenant property occupies a 1,500 m² site in a prestigious waterfront location overlooking the Rhine and offers attractive office space for five tenants. The new owner is a private investor. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The listed office villa has a remarkable history. Built in 1867 in the Neo-Baroque style, it was originally the residence of Max Haniel and was converted into Ruhrort town hall in the 1890s. Around a century later, the premises became an inland shipping museum. The building was converted into its current office form in 2002. Most recently, a modern air-source heat pump system was installed to cool and heat the entire property.
