Mülheim, Aktienstraße 53.
Under the motto “Commercial halls can do more,” a former warehouse on Aktienstraße has been transformed into a hotspot for sports fans. Brockhoff secured two innovative sports concepts as tenants for the LIGHT INDUSTRIAL hall, bringing lasting value to both the site and its wider surroundings.
Following the necessary fit-out works, Hapik—formerly known as “clip’n climb”—opened a modern climbing centre in a 1,400 m² section of the hall. With varied wall designs and routes of different difficulty levels, it offers climbing fun for all ages. The focus is on a family-friendly experience that appeals to beginners and advanced climbers alike.
WAP – We Are Padel opened its first Ruhr region location in a further 2,600 m². Padel, a dynamic blend of tennis and squash, is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. The Swedish company is expanding successfully and already operates numerous padel courts in Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.
The hall’s conversion was designed and delivered as another turnkey project by GRED – German Real Estate Development GmbH, making it a good example of creative, forward-looking property development. Thanks to the new tenants, Aktienstraße has become a destination for sport and leisure activities in the Ruhr region.
