IT recruitment consultancy “engaged & Company” will move into the 12th floor of RUHR Tower in Essen on 1 November 2022, occupying 633.82 m².

Brockhoff OFFICE brokered the lease. The space is being fitted out in consultation with the new tenant.

In 2019, Essen-based brokerage Brockhoff advised on the sale of the office tower from FAKT AG to Wealthcap Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH. The new owner then appointed Brockhoff OFFICE as sole letting agent for the 17,200 m² property on a 5,000 m² plot at “Am Thyssenhaus 1-3.”

RUHR Tower is one of the landmarks of Essen’s office market. The 80-meter-high office tower, with adjoining podium and a parking garage for around 200 cars, was built as a steel-frame structure and opened in 1961 as Rheinstahl-Hochhaus. It later served as headquarters of Thyssen Industrie AG and became known as Thyssen-Haus.
