The listed commercial building at Bäckerstr. 39 in Minden has changed hands in a transaction brokered by Brockhoff. The three-storey property offers 780 m² of usable space. The ground-floor restaurant is let long term to “Katzentempel”, a franchise concept expanding across Germany.

The buyer, an investment company from Berlin, was particularly attracted by the prime 1A pedestrian-zone location and the development potential of the upper floors. “Investors are increasingly focusing on residential and commercial buildings in prime 1A locations with long-term leases, and transaction numbers are rising again,” says Bert Pfeffer, an expert in retail properties in prime 1A locations. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
