(Mülheim, 24.09.2020). Erwin Soravia is currently developing five high-rise buildings in Vienna and numerous other properties in Austria and Germany. He also owns the former Tengelmann headquarters in Mülheim: a unique park-like site in the Ruhr region, covering 136,000 m² and featuring a well-preserved building with 79,000 m² of office space.

According to marketing agent Eckhard Brockhoff in Essen, after all Tengelmann Group companies moved out, the campus—whose new name is still being sought—has become one of the Ruhr region’s most sought-after locations. The first leases have been signed, and concrete lease negotiations are under way for 25,000 m², or 30% of the space.

Minister-President Laschet showed great interest in the property’s many possibilities and welcomed Erwin Soravia’s plan to develop it as a campus and integrate it into Mülheim’s cityscape. The first tenants will move in next year.
