For decades, Café Döhmann was a much-loved Ruhr institution, known well beyond Bochum. After the café closed, renowned leather-goods retailer KÜPPER took over the ground-floor retail space, while Barmer Ersatzkasse moved into the upper floors. Brockhoff & Partner brokered both leases at the time. Today, the upper-floor space is let long-term to several companies.

On behalf of the Döhmann family, Brockhoff INVEST sold the extensively renovated complex to the asset management company of an Essen family. Built in 1957, the buildings comprise 5 retail units, 10 office units and a ground-level warehouse. The property also has 14 parking spaces. Total lettable area is 3,365 m².
