This year, Brockhoff is continuing its Christmas tradition by granting a heartfelt wish for the children at neighbouring Kita Lysegang: a custom-made outdoor play kitchen where they can cook and bake to their hearts’ content in the daycare centre’s outdoor area.

A carpenter is designing and building the play kitchen specifically for the daycare centre to meet all required safety and quality standards. “Our children love playing with the toy kitchen in their groups. We can’t wait for them to bake their first sand cakes in the garden,” say Julia Rothe and Melike Güngör, chairs of the daycare centre’s support association.

In keeping with tradition, Brockhoff Managing Director Oliver Rottmann personally delivered the happy news about the early Christmas present. So the children could unwrap something straight away, he had brought along all the pots, pans and ladles needed for a well-equipped kitchen.

Through its commitment to the daycare children, Brockhoff highlights its sense of social responsibility and the importance of close ties within the neighbourhood. Supporting Kita Lysegang is just one example of the several fundraising initiatives Brockhoff regularly launches. From small acts of help to larger funding projects, Brockhoff supports social causes several times a year and makes a valuable contribution to the community.
