The Huyssen Quartier Essen (HQE) new-build project on Huyssenallee, directly opposite the Philharmonie and Sheraton Hotel, is currently the city’s most exclusive development. Shortly after construction began, PwC Germany signed a lease brokered by BROCKHOFF OFFICE for the entire planned office area of around 4,200 m² and 80 underground parking spaces. PwC is Germany’s leading auditing and consulting firm and will open a new location on Essen’s former grand boulevard.

At Huyssenallee 58, a 19-storey residential tower with 44 apartments and an adjoining commercial building with a three-storey underground car park will be built on a 3,800 m² site by 2022. Total lettable area is 16,000 m² and includes a further 204 underground parking spaces.

In 2017, BROCKHOFF INVEST sold a building complex on the same site on behalf of Deutsche Immobilien Chancen AG & Co. KGaA to Essen entrepreneur Dr. Peter Jänsch and a Cologne partner. On Brockhoff’s recommendation, the new owner and long-standing business partner Dr. Peter Jänsch chose demolition followed by new construction. He appointed BROCKHOFF OFFICE to let the commercial space.
