Quadoro Investment GmbH, acting as the capital management company for the open-ended special fund Quadoro Social Infrastructure (QSI), has completed the acquisition of a two-building office complex in Recklinghausen, North Rhine-Westphalia.
Built between 1961 and 1968, the two buildings underwent phased refurbishment from 2021 to 2023. Total lettable area is approximately 8,000 m², with the Recklinghausen district as the main tenant. The portfolio also includes more than 170 parking spaces. The buildings enjoy a good micro-location and excellent public transport links. Their roofs are used for photovoltaic systems to generate sustainable energy. Potential expansion space within the buildings offers additional upside. The acquisition meets both QSI’s strict investment criteria and the requirements of a comprehensive sustainability assessment, achieving an above-average result. Further measures are planned soon, including converting all lighting to LED, assessing the installation of additional charging points, replacing outdated windows and addressing any remaining contaminated land. Brockhoff GmbH advised the seller.
