Founded in 1920, VDEF offers a broad range of seminars to service-sector businesses, particularly rail operators, railway safety companies and engineering firms. Alongside railway-specific training, its courses cover vocational education and professional development, as well as foreign languages at almost every level and for a wide range of uses. VDEF is recognised as a training partner by the Federal Railway Authority, DB Netz AG and chambers of industry and commerce.
