Real estate consultancies Realogis and Brockhoff jointly secured an occupier for the HafenCenter, currently under development in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Realogis introduced the tenant, Friess Techno Profi GmbH, a tool manufacturer and specialist trade partner for the painting sector. Brockhoff acted on an exclusive basis for the landlord, a private investor from the region.
From the end of 2024, Friess Techno Profi GmbH will occupy a unit at Weselerstraße 28–40 / Elbestraße 8, comprising approximately 6,320 m² of warehouse space, 900 m² of offices and 910 m² of mezzanine space. It will use the unit as its main location.
The Nespoli Group is a leading designer and manufacturer of painting tools, metal tools, spray paints and household cleaning products. The owner-managed company was founded in the 1940s after the Second World War. It grew from a small local trade business into an international group with locations across Europe and beyond. Headquartered in Cantù, Italy, and led by Luigi and Alessandro Nespoli, the global company employs around 1,300 people.
Within the Nespoli Group, Friess-Techno (https://www.friess-techno.de/) serves specialist retailers and professional painters in the DACH region and elsewhere in Europe. In spring next year, the company will move around 40 employees from its current Essen location to Mülheim and expand its professional painting trade business from there. Its goal is to make the trade more productive and efficient with field-tested tools made by professionals for professionals, excellent service and personal commitment.

Its climate-friendly specification meets the latest construction standards and includes fossil-free energy supplied in part by a photovoltaic system and an air-to-water heat pump. With a clear height of 10.25 m below the roof trusses, Friess Techno can use the full height for future racking, significantly improving efficiency compared with its previous premises.
