Ruhr University Bochum has leased a further 3,600 m² of office space at “Bochumer Fenster”, bringing its total occupancy to 11,800 m², or 50% of the entire building. According to DIC Asset, the newly concluded lease has a term of 15 years. The additional space is in the basement, formerly used for retail and a swimming pool. Brockhoff brokered the lease.

By October, the former swimming pool and original retail spaces will be converted into three teaching rooms, a fitness area, changing rooms with showers and seminar rooms. Modepark Röther is the building’s second-largest tenant. DIC Asset acquired the building from Häusser-Bau in 2006.
