TÜV NORD plans to transform its site in Essen’s Frillendorf district into a state-of-the-art technology campus. A key part of the project is a new office building for Swedish industrial group Atlas Copco, which will relocate its German headquarters there. The building, costing around €56 million, is scheduled for completion by 2025.

The project includes more than office space. Modern sports facilities, including a gym and sports pitches, as well as catering facilities for employees are also planned. The aim is to create a workplace that promotes technological progress while focusing on employee wellbeing. TÜV NORD is also committed to sustainability and aims to make the entire site climate-neutral by 2030.

With the new technology campus, TÜV NORD aims to strengthen its position in the region and establish itself as an attractive location for innovative companies and skilled professionals.
