Brockhoff brokers 1,620 m² at Essen’s Lindenallee
(Essen, 2 March 2023). The University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr) will open a science hub in summer 2023 in the listed sandstone building at Lindenallee 29-41, occupying more than 1,620 m² in total. Essen-based real estate advisor Brockhoff has been appointed to market the 16,800 m² property and exclusively brokered the space. Before UA Ruhr moves in, the 1st and 2nd floors will be fitted out to meet the specific needs of research and academic work. Alongside office space, a prestigious event hall with a ceiling height spanning two floors will be created.

UA Ruhr combines its leading international research under the Research Alliance Ruhr umbrella in four research centers and one college.
KGAL acquired the late-classical building in central Essen for its KGAL Core 4 fund. During the revitalization that began in 2018, it placed great importance on high-quality, modern finishes in the redesigned rental and entrance areas, as well as preserving the original character of the building in a holistic and faithful way. This also reflects the principles of sustainability, which are closely linked to the investment strategy of the KGAL Core 4 fund.
The property is continually optimized in response to market conditions, and further conceptual ideas can create additional space options. This can even accommodate large-scale users ideally within the building.
