University Hospital Essen has leased approximately 3,000 m² of office and storage space at the former Karstadt headquarters in Essen. Karstadt had previously used the premises temporarily. BROCKHOFF OFFICE advised on the lease, keeping the approximately 100,000 m² property fully let.

In 2018, BROCKHOFF OFFICE had already brokered a landmark 30-year lease for approximately 26,800 m² at the property in the Bredeney district to Essen Police Headquarters. The present-day Galeria Karstadt-Kaufhof Group remains the office complex’s anchor tenant.

In 2019, publity acquired the property in Essen-Bredeney for its own real estate portfolio, which is held by subsidiary PREOS Real Estate AG. Since the beginning of 2019, that portfolio has been expanded with German office properties worth approximately €1 billion.
