VALORA Foodservice Deutschland, a leading foodvenience provider, has leased around 2,572 m² of office space at Lindenallee 29–41, close to Essen central station, for its German headquarters. It will move in after the individually tailored fit-out is completed in Q2 2024. Brands of the Swiss VALORA Group represented in Essen include Backwerk, Frittenwerk and Ditsch. The group has a total of 15,000 employees.

KGAL acquired the late-classical building in downtown Essen for its KGAL Core 4 Real Estate SICAV-SIF S.C.S. fund. During the revitalisation, which began in 2018, particular attention was paid to high-quality modern finishes in the lettable areas and entrance zones. The project centred on preserving the building’s original character in a holistic and faithful manner, in line with the sustainable investment strategies of the KGAL Core 4 Real Estate SICAV-SIF S.C.S.

The property is continuously optimised to meet market needs and create additional space options through innovative concepts. This allows it to accommodate larger occupiers as well. Over the summer, the University Alliance Ruhr opened its own location in the building, occupying 1,620 m². Brockhoff also advised on that lease on an exclusive basis.
