Nine months before completion, the joint venture of Aconlog Projektentwicklung GmbH and bauwo Grundstücksgesellschaft mbH secured an anchor tenant for the largest unit at the new Aconlog Park Greven, signing a 10-year lease. WM GROUP GmbH, based in Bocholt, will occupy four of the seven warehouse sections at Reckenfelder Straße 60, each measuring 10,000 m².
The logistics provider will consolidate existing customer operations in Greven and add new business. Handover of the sustainably built 46,500 m² of new space, constructed to DGNB Gold Standard, is planned for the turn of 2023/2024. WM GROUP plans to employ around 80 people at the site initially.

“We believe in the Münsterland as a business location. The immediate proximity to the A1 motorway and a parcel-service hub, together with the property’s quality, 12.10 m clear height and modern heat-pump technology combined with a photovoltaic system, were decisive factors for us,” explains Oliver Blüher, Managing Partner of Aconlog Projektentwicklung GmbH. Aconlog and bauwo are already in advanced talks with potential users for the remaining 30,000 m².

Sustainability is very important to us, particularly in real estate,” says Dirk Meyer, spokesperson for the management of WM GROUP GmbH. “The direct proximity to the DHL hub is especially attractive for our e-commerce customers, and we are highly confident in the site’s potential. Aconlog and bauwo are also two capable new partners, and we look forward to a successful long-term collaboration.”
Brokerage firms Robert C. Spies and BNP advised Aconlog and bauwo on the lease. Brockhoff, based in Essen, represented WM GROUP.
Aconlog Park Greven is the second joint project by Aconlog and bauwo and the largest in Aconlog’s history. “Alongside our investment in Alsdorf, on the eastern edge of our home market in North Rhine-Westphalia, we deliberately chose Greven to invest in the north of the state as well,” says Oliver Blüher.
