Fellbach, 26 June 2019 – Wohninvest Group (“Wohninvest”), a specialist in modern office properties, has sold its property known as “Tausendfensterhaus” in Duisburg-Ruhrort to a family office from Düsseldorf. Brockhoff INVEST brokered the sale on Wohninvest’s behalf. Tausendfensterhaus offers approximately 12,400 m² of total lettable space and was built between 1922 and 1926. Today, the building at Ruhrorter Straße 187 is listed. In addition to the 24 parking spaces directly outside the property, a further 190 spaces in the car park opposite were also sold. The property is conveniently located next to a railway station and close to the A40 motorway. Its tenant mix includes an eye clinic, Techniker Krankenkasse and the City of Duisburg.

“The sale of our property in Duisburg shows that we are consistently implementing our strategy. Our aim is to identify attractive acquisition opportunities and resell properties after asset and property management measures. We target holding periods of 12 to 36 months,” says Harald Panzer, Managing Partner of Wohninvest Holding GmbH.

Wohninvest acquired the property at the end of 2016 and has now sold it, in line with its strategy, after around 2.5 years. In the meantime, the company carried out numerous asset management measures to further optimise the property. The proceeds will be reinvested in expanding the Wohninvest Group portfolio.
