The lease of the office and commercial building at Viktoriastr. 39 in Bochum continues the successful cooperation between coworking provider Work Inn and Brockhoff OFFICE in the Ruhr region. Last year, the INVEST division sold the building, which required renovation, in central Bochum to its new owner, Häusser-Bau. Vacated specifically for refurbishment and redesign, the property is now nearly fully let, with Work Inn leasing approximately 1,178 m². The building will be completely renovated and adapted to modern workplace requirements in consultation with Work Inn. Once the work is complete, it will combine a contemporary work environment with excellent infrastructure connections.

“We are delighted that Work Inn will bring fresh energy to Viktoriastraße. In consultation with the new tenant, we are modernizing the building inside and out. Together, we will turn an ordinary city-centre building into a new hotspot,” says Sebastian Lau, Head of Lettings at Häusser-Bau.

Work Inn managing partner Tim Schabsky explains the coworking concept: “We create inspiring workplaces that we make available to creative minds and makers on flexible terms. Working in modern communities is becoming increasingly popular, and we want to develop more space in the Ruhr region together with Brockhoff.” For its locations in Mülheim and Essen, Work Inn also chose prime-location buildings recommended by Brockhoff OFFICE.

The Essen-based agent has also been appointed to lease the vacant retail unit, with approximately 300 m² of sales space and 200 m² of service area.
