Brockhoff brokered the sale of a 2,532 m² light industrial property in Essen to the BUTEO Group. The purchase price has not been disclosed.

The listed building occupies a 2,508 m² site in a very attractive location, directly beside Essen’s Stadtgarten and close to the lively Rüttenscheider Straße. Built in 1956, it comprises a 1,691 m² hall and an 842 m² office wing. Both parts are currently vacant and will be comprehensively refurbished by BUTEO before being repositioned.

Brockhoff and BUTEO have worked together successfully on several projects that have given properties in central Essen a new purpose. BUTEO acquired the former Schenker building in Rüttenscheid through Brockhoff and repositioned it as “a81”. Brockhoff also brokered the “Bismarckhaus” in the Südviertel for BUTEO. After a major refurbishment with sustainable building technology and a modern layout, it was quickly let in full by Brockhoff. BUTEO is now refurbishing the centrally located “Stüsselhaus” in Rüttenscheid and has appointed Brockhoff to market it.
