The building complex in the Japanese Quarter has around 6,700 square metres of total usable space.
Colliers and Brockhoff advised on the successful sale of a centrally located office and retail property on Immermannstraße in Düsseldorf. Colliers advised the seller, while Brockhoff advised the buyer. The parties and purchase price have not been disclosed. Both buyer and seller are locally active family offices.
Built in 1962 and modernised in 1987 and 2007, the complex stands on an approximately 2,052-square-metre plot in the heart of Düsseldorf’s popular Japanese Quarter. It has around 6,693 square metres of usable space, including approximately 4,093 square metres of offices and 2,600 square metres of ground-floor retail space. The property also has 35 underground parking spaces.
“Immermannstraße is one of the liveliest and most promising locations in central Düsseldorf. Excellent transport links, an established micro-location and a range of repositioning options—from modern office refurbishment to commercial residential concepts—make this property an attractive investment,” says Karim Klingberg, Head of Capital Markets at Colliers in Düsseldorf. “We are delighted to have completed this off-market transaction, which demonstrates the continued strong demand for value-add assets in Düsseldorf’s city centre.”
Jörg Langensiepen, Managing Director of Brockhoff, adds: “The significant development potential of this property in an excellent location was a key factor in the investment decision. We are pleased to have once again helped our long-standing client expand its property portfolio and bring this transaction to a successful close.”
